If you inject drugs - or if you live with an injector - you should be vaccinated against hepatitis B.

Even if you never share needles, syringes, spoons, water or filters,you could still be at risk from getting accidentally pricked by a needle or by having unsafe sex.

Protecting yourself from hepatitis B won’t protect you from HIV and hepatitis C. You can catch these by sharing injecting equipment, needle-stick injuries and unsafe sex. But hepatitis B can be one less thing to worry about.
